Benefits of Dealership Training
As part of our support for the military, Chrysler Academy is offering free web-based training for dealership jobs to transitioning active duty personnel, their spouses, and military veterans. Each Chrysler Academy web-based course comes with a Completion Certificate and Course Code, which will be automatically included with your profile, and forwarded to the dealers of your choice. These completed courses make you a more desirable candidate for open positions within our Chrysler dealer network than other candidates who may not have Chrysler product knowledge or course completions that apply toward Chrysler Certifications. For military personnel who are interested in learning and applying technical skills in automotive repair, the Chrysler College Automotive Program (CAP), can provide you with additional training and experience. CAP is a nationwide effort to prepare our next generation of Service Technicians with the technical training and employability skills necessary to be successful while working in a Chrysler dealership. In addition, all military veterans have access to the G I Bill which can be used toward their CAP college education in automotive technology.
Chrysler’s CAP provides valuable internship experience along with classroom instruction. Students rotate between class time and sponsoring dealership time over a 2-year period as they fulfill the requirements of an Associates Degree in Automotive Service Technology (or equivalent).
