Description: This training course provides a step by step approach on how to properly perform the New Vehicle Preparation service procedure that, when complete, ensures Chrysler vehicles are ready for delivery to the customer. • The procedure covers all items on the New Vehicle Preparation Form and the steps follow a logical order, preventing duplication and wasted effort. Given a simulated environment and upon completion of this course the technician should be able to: - successfully obtain the New Vehicle Preparation Checklist and dealership internal work order. - Use the new Vehicle Preparation Checklist successfully complete the Vehicle Readiness section of the New Vehicle Prep. - Use the new Vehicle Preparation Checklist successfully complete the vehicle road test section of the New Vehicle Prep. - Use the new Vehicle Preparation Checklist successfully complete the functional operation section of the New Vehicle Prep. - Use the new Vehicle Preparation Checklist successfully complete the Underhood section of the New Vehicle Prep. - Use the new Vehicle Preparation Checklist successfully complete the Under Vehicle section of the New Vehicle Prep. - Use the new Vehicle Preparation Checklist successfully set all customer convenient options and ensure they operate properly. - Use the new Vehicle Preparation Checklist successfully ensure all recalls and RRTs that pertain to the vehicle are performed before the New Vehicle Prep is complete. - Use the new Vehicle Preparation Checklist store the vehicle according to approved guidelines.
