Description: Who Should Attend Technicians who will be performing diagnosis and repairs on electrical components, control modules, and body electrical systems must attend this course. Benefits This class provides the technicians with the knowledge and practical usage of meters and lab scope operation to quickly and accurately perform electrical diagnosis. This class will also assist the technician in accurately identifying the different types of sensors, load devices and circuitry that is utilized with today’s vehicle electronic architecture. When you have completed this course, you will be able to: - Identify all of the different types of sensing devices used in Chrysler Electrical systems - Identify all of the different types of control devices used in Chrysler Electrical systems - Identify all of the different types of load devices used in Chrysler Electrical systems - Identify all of the different types of Vehicle communications used in Chrysler Electrical systems - Identify all of the different types of test equipment used for Chrysler Electrical systems - The student will be able to list all of the electrical circuits and their functions of the subject component - The student will be able construct the component using an on line simulation. - The student will be able to list all of the electrical components and their functions of the subject system - The student will list all of the possible causes of the symptom and select the proper test to isolate the cause - The student will be able to select, connect and interpret the results of the Lab scope readings - The student will be able to correctly diagnose the failed component - The student will be able to perform all of the recommended test procedures for the component
